Twine Security, Inc.How Twine Security collects and records consent before Twine IT texts a new employee
On an employee’s first day, Twine IT sends one text message with the temporary password for their company account. Their username arrives separately by email, so neither message works on its own. The employee chooses their own password at first sign-in. These texts are transactional only: no marketing, no promotions, and no messages to customers, prospects or purchased lists.
Before the start date, Twine’s HR team holds an onboarding call with each new employee. On that call, HR reads this script and asks for the employee’s mobile number:
“Twine IT can text your first-day sign-in password to this mobile number. It’s one message, on your first day. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Is that OK?”
Twine Security IT: Welcome to Twine! Your temporary password is Kemar5839. Your username is in your email. Never share this message. Reply STOP to opt out.
Mobile numbers are used only to send this sign-in text. They are not sold, and they are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are stored encrypted in Twine HR. The password in the text is not kept after it is sent. Read our full privacy policy and terms.
